ISNA news agency reported Saturday that parliamentarians voted for a tax bill from Astan Quds Razavi in the framework of the 1998 budget.
The MPs were obliged to pay taxes in the passages of Astan Quds Razavi, the Chief Executive Officer of Imam Khomeini and the enterprises of the armed forces.
The resolution also has an exception, and the fact that these foundations and financial institutions can be exempted from paying tax by "explicit permission of the supreme leader."
In recent years, the issue of tax exemption for economic entities affiliated with the Supreme Leader has been the subject of protests.
