Balkan Naser Hemmati, the head of the Central Bank of Iran, criticized the banks in the country, raising the liquidity and bankruptcy of the banking system as a reason for the turmoil of the foreign exchange market and said there were no plans to slow down the growth of liquidity or its accumulation. Liquidity growth in recent years has become a permanent phenomenon in the Iranian economy and has been increasing dramatically every year.
