Bank accounts and pockets of people are empty as their tables, and economic activists have repeatedly warned over the spread of the economic crisis and the decline in earnings and liquidity over the past months. In the whole country, 10.6% of the total number of exchange checks and 11.9% of the total exchange checks were refunded in January 1397.
