Hemmati: Foreign currency banknotes are unprecedented
Abdul Nasser Hemmati, Governor of the Central Bank, said yesterday at a meeting of the "Banking System and Production Leap" that was held in the presence of the First Vice President, CEOs of banks and members of the Board of Directors at the Central Bank: We have no problem. Although it is natural that we do not have foreign exchange earnings as before, of course, many countries that are not under sanctions are worse off than us. Hemmati added: "Currently, our country's foreign exchange bank reserves are unprecedented in the last decade, we have removed and added them for the days ahead." In this situation, exporters are a good help to us, and we have certainly considered supportive and encouraging arrangements for exporters to export more and return export currency. We hope that exporters will help the most this year.
